Chevron Oil Refinery Smoke Stacks-El Segundo-HDR

i went for something a bit different here………i was walking down the beach just looking at these huge smoke stacks. they had so much detail everywhere you looked. they were just full of color. they had a real grimey, worn, weathered, rusty look to them, which i really liked. i wanted to get as much detail out as i could, so here we go……3 exposures, HDR with photomatix.

do you even know where el segundo is? this plant has nothing to do with chevron refinery and those are not smoke stacks it is a steam stack. excess steam created by the boilers that drive the turbines to create electricity. not smoke, no diesel and definately not chevron. you should investigate before you print. ignorance is bliss!
